This project focuses on enhancing Snap Inc.'s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Playbook through innovative gamification strategies. By integrating engaging, research-backed elements into the DEI Playbook, the goal is to foster deeper engagement among Snap employees, particularly those in leadership roles, and to promote the adoption of DEI initiatives across the organization.

Project Phases

  1. Initial Research and Landscape Analysis

    • Conduct an in-depth study of gamification strategies utilized by organizations in tech and non-tech industries to promote DEI and ESG initiatives.

    • Analyze gamification stages (Discovery, Onboarding, Scaffolding, Endgame) and assess their effectiveness using external research and success metrics.

  2. Gamification Strategy Development

    • Create and evaluate diverse gamification strategies based on initial research and a SWOT analysis.

    • Conduct focus groups to gather feedback on design, functionality, and overall effectiveness, leading to refined concepts and targeted persona development.

  3. Mockup Design and Final Recommendations

    • Develop mockups for the most impactful gamification strategies using tools like Figma, incorporating competitor case studies to enhance UI/UX.

    • Present a comprehensive recommendation package, including marketing strategies and innovative solutions leveraging VR/AI technologies for the DEI Playbook.
